A public meeting is being held for residents to find out what progress is being made to improve their area.
A Jaywick action team made up of police officers, representatives from Tendring Council, the community and the Tendring Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, was set up to start getting things done.
On Monday at 7.30pm, a public meeting will be held at the Jaywick Community Resource Centre to give residents the opportunity to find out about their work and how far they have got.
Insp Paul Butcher, of Clacton police, said: "Officers have spent a lot of time speaking to people in the area particularly about Neighbourhood Watch."
