Violent fighting and huge bloodshed could be about to break out.
But the police have no reason to worry - the conflict will all be a re-enactment of great battles in history.
Gerald Neal, of Orwell Terrace, Dovercourt, has started a website trading in artefacts from the past. Through the contacts he makes, he is hoping to bring history to life by re-enacting battles in open spaces in the town.
He said: "We are selling equipment from various eras from Viking to medieval times.
"We would like to get involved in the re-enactment side of things and I will offer something on a similar line to Party in the Park."
He has been in contact with the Harwich Society and Harwich Town Council and has already envisaged what the scene could look like.
