This year's V Festival will finally see Braintree's Prodigy make a welcome homecoming.
The band headlined in 1997 but since then have been in the musical wilderness while songwriter Liam Howlett put the finishing touches to the follow-up to the group's highly acclaimed Fat of the Land.
They will be headlining the second stage at this year's festival on the Sunday with fellow dance music legends, The Chemical Brothers, doing the honours on the second stage on the Saturday.
Tickets for this year's V Festival, which takes place on the weekend of August 20 and 21, will now go on sale on March 11. For further information check out www.vfestival.info
