Soccer watchdogs have held back from disciplinary action after claims that a Braintree footballer was subjected to racist abuse.
The allegations arose from an incident at the Ryman League premier division clash between Braintree Town FC and north London club Wealdstone FC on January 15.
Braintree Town bosses complained to the Football Association (FA) that their captain Ollie Adedeji, who is black, was subjected to racist chanting from some Wealdstone supporters.
Now the FA has said it will not take the matter any further, but warned Wealdstone could face disciplinary action if there are "further reports of spectator misconduct."
