Musical youths orchestrated a fun half term when they joined up with the Colne Valley Training Orchestra.

The two-day Holiday Orchestra for wannabe young musicians took place at the end of last week at the Lion Walk United Reformed Church.
It was the ninth year the popular event had been held and once again plenty of children turned up to get a taste for what it's like playing in a real orchestra.
There were lots of musical pieces to learn, including a 13th century English dance, a piece called Beethoven Rules OK and a fun piece called The Weasel Goes Pop.
