Kelvin Davis was quick to hold his hands up after Ipswich Town's shock home defeat against Queens Park Rangers.
The Blues went down 2-0 at Portman Road on Saturday - knocking them out of the top two in the Coca-Cola Championship.
It was the first time they had lost back-to-back games all season and goalkeeper Davis, at fault for both goals, told the Gazette: "I'm an honest lad and I'll always hold my hands up when I make mistakes.
"Their first goal came from an attempted clearance but my standing leg went just as I kicked the ball.
"It's disappointing because I feel kicking is one of my biggest strengths. It's something I'm very happy with.
"As for the second goal, I was coming to claim the free-kick but didn't get there in time. I could certainly have done better and that's disappointing."
