Hadleigh karate club have had plenty to celebrate this week after picking up the club and coach of the year award from the United Kingdom all star karate association.
The UKASKO rewarded coach Jonathan Bolt for his efforts and the youngster admitted he was delighted to have received such recognition.
"I was certainly a bit surprised because I didn't know I had won until the trophy came through the post," said the Leigh based 22-year-old.
"I've only been coaching two years so it's some achievement, especially as only 25 instructors from around 30, 000 clubs got the award.
"But it's all about hard work and the commitment of the pupils as well."
The club hold training sessions at St. Barnabas church, Hadleigh on Saturdays 10am until 12 and Monday nights between 6 and 7 pm.
Training also takes place at St Michael's church in Rayleigh at 3.30pm on both Tuesdays and Fridays.
Contact Jonathan on 07763 010546 for further details.
