Colchester United striker Craig Fagan is out to prove the doubters wrong at Hull City.

Proving a point - Craig Fagan (right) will be working his socks off for the U's against Hull City tomorrow.

The frontman was the subject of a six-figure bid from the high-flying Coca-Cola League One side only two weeks ago - a bid the U's turned down.

The transfer saga may be over now, but the fall out from it has seen some U's fans question Fagan's commitment to the side and the Birmingham-born goal-getter is eager to prove them wrong.

He said: "I'm committed to Colchester United.

"I know there have been fans who say I'm not giving my all, but any of them who were at Wrexham on Tuesday will know I did."

For those that did not see him working tirelessly alone up front in the freezing conditions in north Wales, Hull will be their next chance and for Fagan it is the perfect opportunity to show them he is committed.

"I never want to let the team or the club down," said Fagan.

"I'm a Colchester United player until the manager, Phil Parkinson, decides otherwise and I will give my all."
