A teenage boy was attacked and robbed by two girls outside a railway station.
The incident happened in Kingsway, Dovercourt, at about 8.45pm on Wednesday.
The 14-year-old boy was approached by two girls of a similar age who knocked him to the ground.
His mobile phone was stolen and he suffered small cuts and a bloody nose.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the attack to contact them on 01255 241312.
