Anti-runway campaigners have organised a major public meeting to discuss the outcome of last week's judicial review.
Stop Stansted Expansion (SSE) will host the meeting at Mountfitchet High School at Stansted Mountfitchet on Tuesday, March 1, at 8pm.
SSE campaigners will discuss the outcome of the High Court challenge to the Government's Air Transport White Paper and the next steps in the fight against a second runway at Stansted.
SSE chairman Peter Sanders and Alan Dean, leader of Uttlesford District Council, will both address the meeting.
Campaign director Carol Barbone said: "The judge's ruling has shown that we can make a difference in preventing the Government and BAA from steamrolling their plans through."
A similar public meeting a year ago attracted about 700 people.
Airport bosses have stressed it is business as usual folowing last Friday's announcement, which said plans for a second runway were lawful but more consultation was needed on the location of the landing strip.
