Children have tried their hand at mosaic-making in a bid to help create a new sculpture for Little Totham.

Some 11 youngsters aged six to 13 turned out for a day of gluing and sticking of brightly-coloured chipped crockery at a free workshop at All Saints' Church yesterday, just outside the village.

Little Totham Landscape Group has enlisted the help of community artist Peter Harrington to create the new sculpture - three toadstools in the shape of a shamrock with flowers on top.
