Marie Armstrong's sons Garylee and Jamie suffer from learning difficulties and behavioural problems respectively but got help from Parents Supporting Parents (PSP).
Now her family, including nine-year-old Shannon, are off on a sponsored walk, from Harwich to Bradfield on Saturday, to raise cash for the group.
Marie, of Clarke's Road, Dovercourt, said: "I would have struggled alone had it not been for PSP. Living with a child with an attention disorder is very demanding."
