The Council for Voluntary Service (CVS), along with racial equality agencies, met at Plantation Hall in Heybridge yesterday to lay on a whole host of culturally-different events for the Maldon community.
Chairman of Maldon District Council John Archer opened the event and stayed around to watch Chinese lion dancing, Irish jigs, African dancing, martial arts, henna painting and much more.
More than 400 people passed through the doors throughout the day.
