One of the last people arrested in a high profile drugs operation in Colchester has been told he is facing jail.

Warren Rose supplied an undercover police officer with heroin three times during Operation Tralee in the town, Chelmsford Crown Court heard.

Rose, 37, from Whersted Road, Ipswich, admitted three supply charges when he appeared in court.

Recorder Robin Knowles QC adjourned the case so Rose could be assessed for a drug treatment and testing order.

But the judge told Rose the likelihood is he will be jailed.

Rose was remanded in custody until he is sentenced next month. There was no application for bail
