Hopefully, when the season comes to an end in May, Colchester United will not regret the two points they dropped last night.
Mistake - an error by Dean Gerken allowed Wrexham to open the scoring.
The U's should have - and could have - won this match comfortably.
However, the small pocket of United fans who made the journey to suffer a horrifically cold night in north Wales can take heart that their side managed to quickly turn round the poor showing of just 48 hours earlier against Bristol City.
That, though, does not make up for the fact they missed out on taking all three points while they are in a difficult relegation battle in the Coca-Cola League One.
Neil Danns levelled after a mistake from U's goalkeeper Dean Gerken had given the Robins a lead in the 50th minute, before Wayne Brown - with his first-ever goal for Colchester - put the U's ahead.
However, substitute Hector Sam was allowed to head in a late equaliser for the home side and deny the visitors three points which should have been theirs.
