A main road in Braintree will be closed so police can carry out a reconstruction of the police car crash that left a woman dead.
The A120 will be closed between Galley's Corner and Panners Bridge on Thursday morning for the reconstruction of the events leading to the collision.
A spokesman for the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), which is carrying out an investigation into the death of Sandra Stirling, of Lister Road, Braintree, said: "The road will be closed for a short time between 1am and 2am on Thursday, February 24."
The reconstruction will be held to try to find out how a woman was hit by a police vehicle on the road.
It will form part of the investigation into how Ms Stirling was hit by a Nissan Navara police vehicle at 1.30am on Thursday, February 3.
