Distinguished hoteliers from around the world turned up to the Five Lakes Resort for their first annual conference.
Hoteliers from the United States, Germany and Switzerland dropped into the four-star hotel in Tolleshunt Knights, which has just joined the worldwide association Distinguished Hotels International.
The conference had a theme based on four of the worlds different regions, from France to the Far East.
Five Lakes general manager Gerhard Schaller said he was delighted the hotel has become a member of the group, which was launched last November after UK-based Grand Heritage Hotels International merged with Distinguished Hotels International in the United States.
He said: "Our membership underlines the exceptional quality found at the resort and the conference was a great example of the prestigious events we are able to host."
