A decorator fell from a ladder while painting windows on a county council building in Braintree.
The man fell from the last three rungs of a ladder while he was painting windows on Tabor House, a social services building in Coggeshall Road, at 12.15pm yesterday.
The social services building is undergoing some refurbishment. The man who fell was working for contractor W S Atkins.
A spokesman for the company said the man was uninjured and that the Health and Safety Executive was not investigating.
