WEST Ham boss Alan Pardew is looking to a consistent back four as he bids for a third successive league win tonight.
Hammers travel to struggling Gillingham looking to build on Saturday's emphatic win over Plymouth Argyle.
And, with a settled back line over recent games, the problems in defence have eased, with Hammers conceding just twice in their past four games.
Despite the continued absence of Christian Dailly the emergence of Anton Ferdinand alongside the experienced Malky Mackay has made a huge difference.
"We've tightened up at the back," said Pardew.
"That's three fine performances in a row from Anton and that's made a big difference to us. The back four's looked solid and the goalie's playing well."
