The only amazing thing about Colchester United's day was how they only conceded two goals to visitors Bristol City.
Heads up - the U's Gavin Johnson is beaten to the ball against Bristol City. 41141-4
The Robins travelled to Essex to meet a Colchester United side riding high on confidence after a good win against Bournemouth a few days previously, but it was a very different side that City faced.
Gone was the determination by United and in place was a tired-looking team that posed few credible threats to the visitors' goal.
Both sides were weakened by a mixture of injuries and suspensions, but it was City who adapted to the blustery and chilly conditions better as they carved out plenty of opportunities in a dominant performance.
Goals from Steve Brooker and Leroy Lita sealed the win for the visitors.
