Sarah Claxton was delighted with her latest indoor showing at the Norwich Union Grand Prix in Birmingham.
The Colchester and Tendring lifelong member beat an international field in the 60 metre hurdles to clock 7.98 seconds.
The 25-year-old said: "It has been a fantastic year I cannot believe I won. It just gets better.
"I have really focused this year and got down to some real hard training. My performances last week (at the Norwich Union European Indoor Trials) and on Friday show that I am now consistent.
"I am looking forward to going to the Europeans and I have one more race next week in France. It's great to win in front of a big crowd in Birmingham. I could not believe the noise."
