A fire which destroyed a pavilion is being treated as possible arson.
Two fire crews from Dunmow and two from Braintree were called to the blaze in the building, thought to be disused, in Braintree Road, Felsted, at 9pm on Friday
Dunmow fire station officer Keith Gunn said: "It was 25 to 30 per cent alight when we got there. We managed to get it put out, and we're trying to establish whether the building was derelict or insured.
"At the moment it's being treated as suspicious."
