Southend's all-conquering White Ensign won through to the semi-finals of the national Cherry Red Books Trophy with a 4-2 success at Bedmond.
They now visit another team from the Herts County League Premier Division, MetPol Bushey, for a place in the final after two goals from Paul Benson, plus one apiece by Chris Baddeley and Tyler Pearmain, saw them home.
The police side disposed of another Essex Inter-mediate League club, Takeley, at the weekend's quarter-final stage.
