A reconstruction will be held of an accident in which a woman was hit by a police vehicle on the A120.
The police reconstruction is due to be carried out in the next week, and it is hoped will jog the memories of people who may have been in the area at the time.
An Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) spokesman said: "What we haven't got are any witnesses.
"It is surprising nobody has come forward and we are still hoping perhaps some witnesses may come forward.
"We hope the reconstruction may jog someone's memory and they will be able to shed some light on it."
Sandra Stirling, 33, of Lister Road, Braintree, was hit by a police vehicle on the A120 Colchester-bound track near to the Notley Road bridge at about 1.30am on Thursday, February 3.
She was alive when she was hit by the Nissan Navara police vehicle on routine duties and a post-mortem examination revealed she died of multiple injuries.
