Emergency teams dealt with a chemical leak at Harwich International Port early today.
A trailer carrying non-hazardous chemicals was off-loaded and reported leaking at 2.20am.
Two fire crews from Dovercourt attended the scene and called for back-up by the Essex Ambulance Service.
An ambulance was sent from Ramsey, as well as a specialist decontamination ambulance crew.
Paramedics checked a dock worker but he was showing no symptoms of being affected by the leak.
Firefighters made the area, in East Road, Parkeston, safe and left about 5.30am.
