Kevin Harman has warned his Southend side not to take National Division Three South bottom club Haywards Heath for granted tomorrow.

The basement boys visit Warner's Bridge in a crunch match the Seasiders' director of rugby know his team must win to put some breathing space between themselves and the relegation zone.

"We have to be in the right frame of mind for this match as Haywards Heath won't be a walkover," said Harman.

"Tomorrow's opposition may be bottom of the league, but you don't know what you are going to get from them.

"They got thrashed at Westcombe Park last week, but beat them well the week before, so we need to be on our guard.

"Haywards Heath are looking dead certainties for the drop this season and have nothing to lose.

"They can come here and play without fear, which could be dangerous."

Southend are ninth in the league standings, three places and nine points above the relegation zone.

But they go into tomorrow's game without the services of dead-ball specialist Simon Hoult, who is nursing a knee injury.

Hoult has just been crowned National Division Three South's kicker of the month and Harman admitted his side will miss the pinpoint accuracy of the centre, who is the third top scorer in the league this term.
