Olympic swimmer Karen Pickering put pupils through their paces when she visited Clacton's largest school.
The four-times Olympian and Britain's first female world champion led an aerobic workout with youngsters at Clacton County High School.
The 33-year-old was at the school to officially acknowledge it receiving the prestigious Sports Mark awarded by Sport England last year.
It picked up the honour to recognise the PE department's commitment to promoting the benefits of physical activities and sport.
Karen also took time out to talk to a selected group of pupils on her life as a top swimmer, her training schedule, and to sign autographs.
