A bit of colourful mathematical fun was injected into lessons at a Colchester School in a bid to encourage the message numbers are fun.

Games and activities formed a large part of events at St John's Green Primary School, off Southway, Colchester, during the maths day.
Children took part in activities ranging from cooking, art, English, maths and physical education all with a Disney theme.
