Southend United frontman Tes Bramble today admitted he is determined to hold down a regular slot in Blues' starting line-up after making a surprise return at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening.
The powerful forward partnered Lawrie Dudfield in attack against the Pirates for the LDV Vans Trophy clash after enduring a frustrating spell on the sidelines.
And the Montserrat international is now hoping to avoid a similar spell out of favour.
"I think it was my first start since New Year's Day and it has been very hard for me," said the 24-year-old.
"I haven't even been getting off the bench for the last three of four games and when you're just sitting there watching everyone else coming on you do wonder if you still have a part to play in the team."
