Craig Fagan could be a Hull City player by the end of the week.

Colchester United boss Phil Parkinson admitted the Coca-Cola League One title-chasers have made a bid for the highly-rated striker.

Speaking after last night's 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth at Layer Road, Parkinson said: "Hull have made an offer for Craig and we'll be making a decision in the next day or two."

Rumours suggest the figure is £150,000, although the U's boss was unable to confirm that.

He said: "I don't think the two chairmen have revealed the figure."

The lightning-quick striker - who finished off his two-match ban for ten yellow cards by missing last night's win - has struck 14 times this season, including one against the Tigers in the FA Cup.

Parkinson has admitted he would not stand in Fagan's way if the chance to play at a higher level came his way.
