Ken Goody was today licking his lips at the prospect of returning to former club Colchester United.
Goody, from Ipswich Town's Academy, knows that would be the prize if his young Blues overcome Aston Villa in the FA Youth Cup.
Town meet the Midlanders at Portman Road tonight (kick-off 7pm) with the winners going forward to a crunch quarter-final showdown at Layer Road.
And Goody, who spent six years working for the U's youth set-up, told the Gazette: "That's a very exciting prospect, especially on a personal note.
"I had some happy times at Colchester, working alongside Steve Foley.
"Together we brought through players like Mark Kinsella, Martin Grainger and Gary Bennett and we also reached the last 16 of the FA Youth Cup, before losing to Notts County."
