People have again been urged to treat Witham cemetery with respect.
Signs were put up recently reminding anyone entering the Cypress Road cemetery that dogs, cycling and ball games are banned.
But Michael Ashby, Braintree Council's cemeteries superintendent, said complaints were still coming in that some individuals were still behaving in an inappropriate way and upsetting the bereaved.
He said: "I'm going to try and get down again next Sunday to do a few patrols around the cemetery, and if I do find someone riding bikes or doing something they're not supposed to, then at least I can point out the rules to them.
"This isn't a play area and there should be no children there under the age of 18 unless they're accompanied by a responsible adult."
Ann Foster, of Beadle Way, Great Leighs, regularly visits the cemetery to tend the grave of her 29-year-old son Lee, who died in 2003.
She said: "I was over at the cemetery the other day and this boy was racing around the cemetery, round the memorial chapel and through the grass and the new bit, weaving through the graves.
"I was absolutely horrified and said to him to get off his bike immediately, because it's a place of respect.
"The woman who was with him said she didn't know you couldn't ride bikes there, but there are signs."
Last year, Mrs Foster complained that the cemetery was used by parents and children to cycle and play ball games in, and by dog owners who let their animals foul in it Last Updated on Wed 16 February 19105 at 13:0
