A woman has admitted selling drugs to an undercover policeman.
Tracey Archer also allowed her Alyssum Walk home in Colchester to be used for the supply of controlled class A drugs, a court heard.
The 39-year-old sold cocaine and diamorphine to an undercover officer on two occasions.
She was arrested as part of Operation Tralee - a police initiative aimed at cracking down on drug crime in Colchester.
At Ipswich Crown Court yesterday, she admitted two charges of supplying class A controlled drugs, contravening section 41 of the misuse of drugs act 1971, to a police officer on November 9 and 16, 2002.
The court heard the first deal involved cocaine and the second time she sold diamorphine.
Archer also admitted permitting her premises to be used for the supply of controlled drugs between November 5, 2002, and December 17, 2002.
Due to the guilty pleas given, no evidence was offered on a count of conspiracy to supply class A drugs with others, and a verdict of not guilty was recorded.
Judge Gareth Davies yesterday adjourned Archer's sentencing to allow reports to be prepared on her, and so she could be assessed for a drug treatment and testing order.
She was released on conditional bail and will appear for sentencing at a court and date to be confirmed.
