A pensioner is looking forward to a more comfortable retirement after bagging more than £52,000 at the bingo.
The Colchester woman hit the jackpot after completing a full house in 40 numbers - the lowest call in 500 clubs nationwide.
The win came just a few months after she switched her venue from the Gala Bingo in the town to the club at Ipswich.
The 65-year-old, who does not want to be named, said: "I never dreamt this would happen to me it's always someone else.
"Having this money at our age is like a security blanket, it gives us freedom from worry about living on a pension."
