The ten sixth formers from Colchester Sixth Form College organised the tag rugby event for 200 ten and 11-year-olds from various schools in the town as part of a sports leadership course they are undertaking.
Once successfully completed, the teenagers will officially be able to coach young rugby players.
As part of the rugby community leadership course, the boys organised and ran yesterday's tournament at Colchester Rugby Club, Mill Road, themselves.
