Boss Phil Parkinson is having a fruitless search to bring reinforcements to Colchester United.
The U's supremo has been desperately trying to add to his injury-ravaged squad ahead of tonight's Coca-Cola League One clash with AFC Bournemouth at Layer Road (7.45pm).
Aidan Davison (calf), Sam Stockley (ankle), Richard Garcia (hip), Jamie Cade (ankle) and Ben Bowditch (hip) are still out along with long-term concerns Kem Izzet (ankle), Karl Duguid (knee) and Bobby Bowry (groin).
Craig Fagan will see out the last game of his two-match ban for picking up ten yellow cards this season. And, to increase Parkinson's problems, there are now doubts over Kevin Watson (calf).
Parkinson said: "There was no good injury news yesterday. And there is also no news on the possibility of bringing in a loan player either.
"I'm waiting on a number of calls. There is nothing to report yet, but we are still looking to reinforce the side."
