Parents were today told to warn their children never to take pills they may find or be offered.
Police in Clacton have issued the warning to parents following an incident where a doctor's bag, which contained a quantity of drugs, was stolen.
The thieves struck at the surgery in Stephenson Road, Clacton. Police officers described the bag as a large, black briefcase. It was stolen between 3pm and 3.20pm last Tuesday
Anyone who thinks they may have been offered any of the stolen pills, or who has information which could help officers, should call PC Shaun Hammond at Clacton police on 01255 221312.
