Joe Royle admitted he was relieved to hear the final whistle after Ipswich Town's 'scrappy' success against Leicester.

Town stayed five points clear at the top of the table and manager Royle said: "I was pleased to get through the game.

"Leicester are a strong side. They work hard and were many people's pre-season favourites to win this division.

"It wasn't our best performance but, at this stage of the season, you could argue the result is the most important thing. I'd still like to see us play better, though."
