Billericay Town boss Justin Edinburgh hailed midfielder Leon Hunter after the former Southend United youngster bagged a brilliant brace in a 2-1 victory over Windsor and Eton on Saturday.
The goal-getting grafter netted two speculative strikes to help Town rise to second in the table with a tenth successive home league triumph.
And Edinburgh was quick to praise Hunter's impressive performance.
"I'd like to give Leon a special mention because he has been outstanding for us in the last five or six weeks," he said.
"He's been in good form all season but just lately he has been superb and those goals he got were brilliant."
The strikes were made even more impressive by the treacherous conditions as both sides battled to overcome the wet and windy weather on a very heavy surface.
