Southend United goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan is hoping to mark his 200th appearance for the club tonight by helping the Shrimpers secure another vital victory against promotion rivals Scunthorpe.
The talented shot-stopper, who joined Blues from non-league Woking five years ago, will again start between the sticks at Roots Hall and is determined to celebrate his double century in style.
"It's something of a milestone for me tonight and to go out and get three points as well would be perfect," admitted the 27-year-old.
"I've had five great years at Southend and I've really enjoyed it here. There have definitely been more ups than downs so far.
"I've got an excellent relationship with the fans and I think I've shown what I can do during my time with the club."
But Flahavan is expecting a tough test this evening as Steve Tilson's side take on the Iron, who currently sit second in the League Two table, despite having won just two of their last nine games.
"It's a massive match for both teams, just like our last two games have been as well," added the agile custodian.
"We did well in them, but Scunthorpe are a very good team and we will again need to be at our best to get something from the game."
Fifth placed Southend have lost just one of their last 12 home League games and Flahavan is keen to extend that recent record in another top of the table clash.
"We've been doing well on our patch and need to keep that going," explained the shot-stopper who has been vying for the number one spot with injured Dutchman Bart Griemink.
