As a baby, 15-year-old Zoe Bygrave was treated for a potentially life-threatening liver condition at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in London.
Now, as a special thank-you, she and her family are taking some of their 27,000 bars for the young patients to enjoy.
Kelvin Bygrave hit the national headlines after the Gazette exclusively revealed he had bought £3,000 worth of KitKats for an internet auction promotion to scoop a car. Each multipack is worth points, which can be used to outbid others in the £5 million KitKash. initiative.
Mr Bygrave, 43, a Frinton businessman, has been giving away the bars to youth groups, primary schools and others to help them raise cash for charity.
