A warning was issued today after youngsters were seen hanging off the edge of a multi-storey car park.

Clacton police said a group of boys were seen climbing out on to the girders in the multi-storey car park in Carnarvon Road, Clacton.

The five youngsters were then caught on CCTV cameras as they risked their lives by hanging out over the edge of the car park.

Now police have issued a warning about the dangers of playing in the high-rise car parks.

Elaine Seymour, spokesman for Clacton police, said: "These boys were acting extremely foolishly."
