Important work in building a new hospital will mean a temporary road closure.
A small section of Main Road, Dovercourt, will be closed to allow work on the new Fryatt Hospital and Mayflower Medical Centre.
The current hospital building will be accessible to traffic travelling west along Main Road but anyone approaching from the east side will be diverted along Fronks Road and back on to Main Road. The work begins on February 21 and will last for three weeks.
Paul Unsworth, chief executive of Tendring Primary Care Trust, said: "Hospital services will not be affected by the work. But we appreciate a degree of inconvenience will be caused to people visiting the hospital and those living in the immediate vicinity."
