Colchester chartered accountants Griffin Chapman is donating £750 to three local charities.
Each Christmas instead of sending out greetings cards to all its clients, it donates the funds to local good causes.
This year the recipients of a cheque for £250 each are St Helena Hospice at Myland Hall, High Woods, Facets in St John's Street and the Essex Air Ambulance.
Senior partner Geoff Tarr said: "We are pleased to continue our support of local charities and the fantastic work they do for the local community, it's our way of giving something back."
Griffin Chapman's roots can be traced back to 1941 in Colchester and currently has six partners working from its town centre offices.
The practice supports a wide variety of clients across the region, ranging from small local firms to national organisations.
It has a long-standing policy of supporting local charities throughout the year and this is one of the many examples of how it does so.
