Seaside gardeners are hoping flower power will get a vandal-hit station back on track.
Frinton's Victorian railway station has been a constant target from yobs. But now the resort's award-winning In Bloom volunteers are set to help give it a facelift.
One initiative brought in was to play piped classical music to try to pacify groups of youngsters who congregate on the platform at night.
The new initiative is to bedeck the station with blooms. The initiative is being backed by railway company One under its adopted stations scheme.
Frinton In Bloom spokesman David Foster said: "We just want to make it something to be proud of."
Representatives of One and the volunteers are due to meet tomorrow.
