The future of Walton's country market is in the balance.
The market, which has been selling homemade goods for more than 20 years, is in danger of having to fold despite its popularity.
The country market, known until recently as the WI market, has to recruit a new treasurer to safeguard its future.
The country market needs to appoint a new treasurer at its annual meeting on Friday.
Organiser Joan Billson said: "Unless we find a treasurer, the market as it is will have to cease trading."
The markets have been held every Friday, from 9.30am to 11.30am, and have been a popular shopping place for local residents and well as holidaymakers during the summer months.
The annual meeting will follow the market on Friday at 11.45am.
