A Freeport Braintree store has donated hundreds of used and new DVD players to a local charity to help raise cash to refurbish a new centre.
Georgina Rhymes (PARC Business Development Manager), Rob Hankey (Bose Demonstration Specialist), Ben Drizen (Bose store Assistant Manager), Neil Ryan (Bose store Manager).
The Bose store set up a special promotion throughout December and January in which customers could donate old DVD players, radios or CDs for auction with proceeds going to the PARC play and resource centre.
PARC is a purpose built outdoor adventure playground and indoor resource centre where children with disabilities can enjoy themselves while their carers have a break.
Georgina Rhymes, PARC Business Development Manager, visited Freeport to collect the first of the players on February 2.
Boss store manager Neil Ryan says: "We chose PARC because we felt it was important to give something back to a local charity and because they are crying out for donations at the moment, so they can refurbish their new centre."
