Final warnings have been given to two teenagers by police officers to stop them committing acts of criminal damage and graffiti.
The two youngsters, who are both from the Clacton area, have caused £810 of damage to a seafront shelter.
They broke the wooden bench and scrawled graffiti over the shelter walls and the promenade in front.
Acting Sgt Dave Gillies, of Clacton police, said although the damage was caused in October, police have been investigating since then to identify the culprits and find those responsible.
PC Gillies said: "Next time they commit an offence, they go straight to court. The crimes do not go away. We still investigate crimes and they are still on-going."
He said Tendring Council would now look at reclaiming the money needed to be spent on repairs to the damaged shelter.
