Customers are still unable to visit one of Colchester's popular bars after it was shut unexpectedly last Thursday.
Revellers who had turned up at Harry's Club and Brasserie, The Centre, Colchester Business Park, having made bookings were shocked to find it closed.
Gary Wright, who had been running the bar said the closure was due to difficulties over the lease of the building which is owned by Scottish Mutual.
He apologised to anyone who had gone to the bar and found it shut especially those that had made bookings. He said he hoped he would be able to reopen the bar if the issues regarding the lease were resolved.
London-based firm CB Richard Ellis, managing agents for Scottish Mutual, were unavailable for comment.
