A motorcyclist had an amazing escape after a crash in Stanway.
The 22-year-old from Tolleshunt Major was riding along Warren Lane when he lost control of his bike.
Paramedic, Neil Young, said: "The rider was thrown from his machine and collided with a people carrier while the bike continued on and hit a passing estate car.
"The bike got wedged under the car and then went on fire, burning out the bike and car completely.
"Fortunately neither the rider nor the man in the car suffered serious injuries."
